Computational Brain Modelling
The brain is a network of billions of connected cells. Mapping these connections, the connectome, has become one of the most exciting fields of neuroscience.
But a map shows where the roads are, not how the traffic flows. That is what we study.

From maps to models
We combine brain imaging with computational models to study how activity moves through this network, and how it changes when people practise meditation. A model lets us test an explanation, not just describe what we see.
Brain and body
We study the brain together with the body: breathing, heartbeat, and the way they interact with brain activity.
Our goal
To understand what happens in brain and body when people train their attention and awareness, and to turn that understanding into reliable knowledge that can benefit everyone.
Work with us
We are building collaborations with researchers and partners who share this interest.
